It's been a heck of a couple of weeks for this dad. Our 32nd wedding anniversary was on July 12, and my wife came down with Covid, and was in bed for 5 days! So there was no way we were going anywhere to celebrate.
I ended up sleeping in the back bedroom for 3 nights. All the creature comforts we there, including a comfy recliner, laptop and TV with a Firestick on it. The downside was it only has a very uncomfortable twin bed. It is way to firm for me as I prefer something on the softer side.
Now couple that with a medical scare and I wasn't in the best of moods. In fact, I was downright surly. I was having some joint pain after many years on Lipitor, and my doctor switched me to Crestor. That turned out to be a HUGE mistake.
Both tests went fairly quickly, and the remote radiologist report came back with it was only a fatty lipoma, and nothing to worry about. My doctor concurred with that the next day, and I asked the surgeon who removed a benign melanoma to look at as well. He agreed, and told me that if it got uncomfortable or larger, to contact him and he could remove it. Boy, was that a relief.
I told my wife what happened, since I didn't want to worry her beforehand. She took it fairly well, and finally understood why my mood was the way it was.
My advice here is this; when in doubt, check it out! Men can get breast cancer just like women. If you feel anything out of the ordinary, call your doctor right away!
